Odmah posle instalacije da li...
5. ...sama nudi i automatski instalira nvidia (i ostale) proprietary drivere?
@combuster - fala za glxgears - bas me i to zanimalo koliko pravi ta X3100. Jel ti Urban Terror ide
glatko ili imas problema, na kojoj rezoluciji?
@DeathStar - onda ti imas nekog dedicated Ati-ja ili nvidiju kad ti daje oko 4000? To mi nesto
mnogo za integrusu?
Inace, glxgears nije bas neki pokazatelj 3D-akceleracije:

Glxgears is not a Benchmark

glxgears is an OpenGL program that reports FPS (frames per second) numbers. However, it is a very limited 'test'. Unlike most modern 3D games glxgears:
* has an extremely low vertex/polygon count
* does no texturing at all
* only simple, flat shading is used (except inside the hole in each gear is simple smooth shading)
* all vertex data is stored in a display list, so almost nothing passes between host CPU and video card once rendering is started. This mostly implies video card fill rate is limited. But, see next point.
* the default window size is 300x300, a large part of which is not even rendered into, so it's not even a good fill rate test
* the entire render step consists of only 21 OpenGL functions calls, of which only 6 are unique. This is not a very good OpenGL API stress test. Something like glean would be better.
So to summarize, glxgears only tests a small part of what you typically see in a 3D game. You could have glxgears FPS performance increase, but your 3D game performance decrease. Likewise, you could have glxgears performance decrease and your 3D game performance increase.
Adobe 64-bit:
Update: Furthering Adobe's commitment to the Linux community and as part of ongoing efforts to ensure the cross-platform compatibility of Flash Player, an alpha version of 64-bit Adobe Flash Player 10 for Linux operating systems was released on 11/17/2008 and is available for download. This offers easier, native installation on 64-bit Linux distributions and removes the need for 32-bit emulation. Learn more by reading the 64-bit Flash Player 10 FAQ.
Jeeeee!! :)) - samo se nadam da ce uskoro beta, pa final... e eto nama manje muka...
Why aren’t the Windows and Mac 64-bit alpha versions available on Adobe Labs?
Release of this alpha version of 64-bit Flash Player on Linux is the first step in delivering upon Adobe’s commitment to make Flash Player native 64-bit across platforms. We chose Linux as our initial platform in response to numerous requests in our public Flash Player bug and issue management system and the fact that Linux distributions do not ship with a 32-bit browser or a comprehensive 32-bit emulation layer by default. Until this prerelease, use of 32-bit Flash Player on Linux has required the use of a plugin wrapper, which prevents full compatibility with 64-bit browsers. With this prelease, Flash Player 10 is now a full native participant on 64-bit Linux distributions. We are committed to bringing native 64-bit Flash Player to Windows and Mac in future prereleases.
Jeee....
